Poster Printing
Undergraduate students who will give a poster presentation of their research at a non-VT related conference off campus are eligible to apply to have their poster printed, free of charge, through the Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR).
Currently, we do not have the funding to supply students with free posters if they are presenting on campus. However, if you would like to pay for your poster to be printed, the cost is $15 per poster (oversized posters are subject to a surcharge) to be paid for via an ISR payment from your respective department/lab. Confirmation from the paying department is needed before posters are printed. If you are interested and able to go through your department, please email Evelyn Compton with your request.
How to Convert PowerPoint Posters to PDF
Windows: Office 2010/2013
- Open your PowerPoint file
- Click on File and select Save As
- Go to the Save as Type and save the file as .pdf
- Click Save to finalize the conversion from PowerPoint to PDF
Mac OSX 2011
- Open your powerpoint file
- Click on File and scroll down to Save As
- Click on the Format bar and choose PDF
