Hello everyone! I'm looking forward to beginning my Social Media Internship at Virginia Tech's Office of Undergraduate Research. I'm currently in my senior year as a Communication Studies major and aim to have a career in broadcasting and media production. This semester, I'll assist with the office's social media by posting student spotlights, research highlights, and information about opportunities for Hokies to get involved.

Most of my hands-on experience comes from my work at VTTV, Virginia Tech's student television channel, where I write and present scripts for digital content on Instagram and YouTube. I'm from the Williamsburg area, and I'm looking forward to applying the same storytelling method here, looking for ways to make undergraduate research seem exciting and accessible to students who may not be aware that it exists.

I'm looking forward to getting in touch with members of the Hokie community and assisting in sharing the stories about the research taking place on campus.
